Home Charging
The VinFast home charging system is fast with up to 8 times the speed of what you would get with a regular 120V wall charger. It’s also durable to be safe for use in your home. The system stays current with regular updates over the air to give you access to new features. The charger comes with a three-year warranty for replacement if anything goes wrong. The connector works with all hybrid and electric vehicles throughout North America. You can use the smartphone app to schedule charging, track electricity usage, and start and stop the vehicle remotely. This feature is coming soon.
Getting your Level 2 charger installed is easy with Qmerit. You can get your estimate online and schedule installation. Trained specialists will handle the installation and show you everything you need to know. They get the required permits and take care of inspections to ensure everything is completed quickly.
Public Charging
You can use the VinFast app on your smartphone to help you find public charging stations for your vehicle. You’ll find over 90,000 stations that offer Level 2 and Level 3 DC fast charging with the ability to locate one along your route whenever you need. You can discover Level 2 stations at a shopping mall, park, or at one of the hotels along your route. Simply plug in and go about your day until your vehicle is ready to go.
For longer trips, you’ll want to find a Level 3 DC fast charging station. This charger can provide up to 70 percent recharge in only 25 minutes. Learning to operate one of these chargers is easy. Once you locate a public charger, you park and plug in the connector. You can sit and relax or get out and stretch your legs, using the app to monitor charging status. This app also lets you manage your payment options, create a profile, monitor your usage, and more.
Tools for Charging
You can purchase a VinFast home charger, which provides the fastest option for home charging. You also have the option of a VinFast portable charger for use at home or on the road. Adaptors allow you to use a standard 120V outlet.
